The Guided Academic courses were designed to assist the students to the rigors of the high school curriculum. Also to assist with ensuring students are on track to earn a diploma. The need was determined by a team of teachers as they reviewed the failure rate of the students. The courses contain character education, enhancement of reading, writing, math and science skills, organizational skills, and test taking skills.
Student grades are based on the Handbook criteria:
